Privacy principles
A family story is not ordinary content.
LifeBook is designed around private-by-default creation, family control and clear ownership. This staging document states the product principles; formal jurisdiction-specific legal terms must be reviewed before public launch.
Private by default
New stories begin privately. A Story Keeper chooses when a story is published and who may contribute.
Scanning is not ownership
A public QR code cannot be claimed without the separate private activation code supplied to the purchaser or authorised partner.
Family ownership and export
Families should be able to export the story and media they have supplied. Advertising will not be placed inside personal stories.
Human truth
Technology may help organise, transcribe or restore approved material, but should never invent memories or impersonate a person without clear, informed consent.
Production review required
Before launch, this policy must be expanded to cover retention periods, lawful bases, minors, succession, deletion, data processors, international transfers and Seychelles-specific legal requirements.
